We appreciate sizing is a difficult one when you haven't got your kids with you to try things on. So, where we can, we have measured actual garments and given these measurement tables on the relevant pages. Unfortunately we are unable to do this for every item!

If you would like to discuss sizing, or have any other product query, please email us on enquiries@kids-kaper.co.uk with your questions. You are welcome to call us on our order line about sizing, but please be aware that our specialist customer service staff may not always be free (so emailing is better)!

Kids Kaper fleeces:

The sizing of these is generous. Basically we designed them to be big enough to wear over a sweatshirt in the winter, then as your kids grow, they can just wear them over a t-shirt in the summer to keep out the wind! Most kids seem to get another winter out of them too!

Kids Kaper hats:

  • X-small - we say for age 0-2 years, but would probably be a bit big for a newborn. However they have a very deep brim which can be turned up loads so again as your little one grows, you'll get quite a few seasons out of it!
  • Small - this covers age 1-4 years and will even be fine for older kids. Head sizes are all so different - it also makes a difference if you child has lots of hair!
  • Medium - for any child age 5yrs upwards, we recommend a Medium hat. They are all stretchy so this size will last for ages!
  • We do not make a Large size at the moment as it fits adults - and that's not what we do!!!

Baggers rainwear:

Don't be too afraid to buy big as the trousers have elastic at the bottom so they won't drag on the ground! They look large but they are designed to go over EVERYTHING! And your little ones need room to move too!

Bóboli:

Bóboli kidswear from Spain is absolutely gorgeous! However the sizing is definitely on the small size. So I would recommend that you buy a larger size than usual, or take two sizes to try, and return the unwanted item for a refund. This is a Spanish designer and the clothes are designed to be quite fitted, which is partly why they seem to come up a bit small.

Lion in the Sun UV Protection Swimwear:

If you're not sure about the one piece sunsuit sizes, then you may be better off getting a two piece. Although it costs more, your child can wear the t-shirt or leggings separately (particularly useful for indoor pools where you don't need the t-shirt! Or wear just the t-shirt with normal shorts when out walking in the sun!)

Please see the garment meaurement tables on the Lion page - we have measured the actual garments so you can use this to help get a good fit.
