General Info

Every care has been taken to describe and portray items accurately using current technology, however slight variations in actual goods may occur.

Kids-Kaper is a Limited Company, registered in England, registration no 4483670.

Customers' statutory rights are not affected by any of these terms of trading. In the event of any dispute, English law shall apply.

Delivery

Our aim is to only offer products on our website which we actually have in stock, or those that we can get within a few days. For items in stock, this means that most orders should be dispatched within 1-2 working days. Occasionally there may be longer delays, and, if so, we will inform you immediately of the expected delivery date. If this is not acceptable to you, we will refund your money straight away. To check availability, or for any query on fabric content, sizing etc., you can contact customer services via any of the methods on the home page.

Postage is free for items delivered anywhere within the United Kingdom when you spend more than £45.00.

For UK orders under £45.00, postage & packaging charges are £3.95.

For overseas orders, postage & packaging charges are £6.00 for Europe and £12.00 for the rest of the world.

VAT

Childrens' clothing up to, and including age 13, are zero-rated for UK VAT purposes. For clothing sizes age 14 upwards and any other items e.g. blankets, VAT is included in the price at the rate of 20%.

For orders invoiced and delivered outside of the EU, VAT will not be charged.

Returning unwanted goods

If you are not happy with your goods, you may cancel your contract with us, without giving a reason, anything up to 28 days after receiving them. We are happy to exchange them or give you a full refund (excluding any postage charges incurred). However, ideally, we would like to get it right first time! So, to check on sizes, we are very happy to measure garments for you if you are not sure.

When returning an item, please:

  • return your clothes unworn and in a resaleable condition;
  • enclose a copy of the dispatch note that accompanied your items;
  • return your goods to us at the customer services address on the home page; (the address is also detailed on your dispatch note/receipt);
  • Kids-Kaper cannot be held responsible for parcels which fail to reach us or are damaged in transit, so we recommend that you return any goods by registered post.

Please note: Kids-Kaper will not pay for or refund the return postage if you are simply returning unwanted goods.

Returning faulty goods

In the unlikely event that goods you have received are damaged or faulty, then we will be happy to replace them or give you a full refund (depending on your preference and stock availability), provided you notify us of the fault within 28 days after receipt.

Please return the goods to us at the customer services address on the home page.

Special offers

Our website special offers are not valid in conjunction with any other Kids-Kaper offer, which may be available at any time through our party plan agents.

Complaints

In the unlikely event that you have a complaint about any aspect of your dealings with Kids Kaper, we will ensure that your complaint will be dealt with fairly, quickly, effectively and confidentially. Please write to Katherine Walker with details of any grievance. Your complaint will be acknowledged with 5 working days and you will be kept informed of progress. We will attempt to resolve any complaint within one month.
